Meet the ‘barking mad’ tightrope-walking terrier who can cross five-foot high ropes.

Bella the Boston-terrier from London in Ontario, Canada, shows off her jaw-dropping trick along ropes that are nearly four times her height.

Unlike some canines, who struggle with basic commands like sit and stay, this seven-year-old daredevil dog performs tightrope walks in front of thousands of people.

The performing pooch was taught the act three years ago by her owner Melissa Millett, 36, who turned her dog training school into a doggie stunt show.

Inspired by a book of circus tricks from the 1900s, Melissa slowly started teaching Bella to walk the tightrope – gradually increasing the height and length of the rope.
