A once in a lifetime experience occurred as a mysterious white fogbow appeared in the Scottish Highlands.

Spotted in the Rannoch Moor on November 21st, the ghostly arch revealed itself in what many would perceive to be an incredibly rare event.

Stretching high above a desolate and snow-encrusted plain, the ‘white rainbow’ provided a wonderful contrast to the clear-blue sky above.

Fogbows are such a rare sight because of the temperamental elements which are required for them to form and Shaun Cumming, a YouTube Vlogger (Shaunvlog), feels incredibly lucky to be one of the few to have seen one first-hand.
