Pensioner Crashes Jaguar Into Tesco Kiosk
Oops! This is the scene after an OAP managed to drive his Jaguar straight into a petrl station kiosk.
Amazingly, no one was seriously injured in the smash, which left shelves of food strewn all over the shop floor yesterday (MON).
Two ambulances and a paramedic area support officer responded to the incident at the Tesco Filling Station on Heath Way in Cannock, Staffs at around 2.50pm but no one was hurt.
The 71-year-old driver drove straight through the glass panelled kiosk, narrowly missing a man, who was hit by a shelf rammed by the luxury saloon.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “On arrival, crews found a green Jaguar car that had collided with the front of the petrol station kiosk. One of the large windows had been shattered and a number of shelves had been knocked over.
“The driver of the car, a 71 year old man was unhurt though shaken by the events. After assessment, he was discharged at the scene.”
