A pig who was destined to become a pork chop was saved from the slaughter house and has now become an artist.
The pig appropriately named Pigcasso is thought to be the world’s only painting pig.
She is rarely seen without a paintbrush and spends her most of her time at an easel overlooking the beach in Cape Town.
Pigcasso was originally bred to be slaughtered at a pig farm in South Africa but was rescued at just four-weeks old, by her now owner, Joanne Lefson.
Upset by the squalid conditions she was kept in, Joanne took pity on the piglet and decided to save her bacon.
